Alaska is one of the few places left where many species of wildlife are living and thriving in North America.  It offers pristine wilderness, and in spring and summer.

Alaska provides an enormous food source for bears.  From berries

grasses, flowers, and salmon, it is no wonder .  And Homer Alaska is a fabulous access point to 3 top wilderness bear viewing areas.

What if you are not an experienced fisherman?  You don’t have to be!  When going on an Alaska fishing trip, the good captains teach you everything you need to know.  That’s especially true of Captain Daniel of.

Daniel was voted the “Best Fishing Guide” by Alaska Magazine in 2018.  When booking with

we had no idea that he was considered tops among Alaskan fishing guides.  On a later wildlife boat trip, I was talking with a Captain who asked, ‘Who did you go halibut fishing with?’  When he heard it was Daniel, he said ‘You got the best!’ , , , , , , , , ,.

Arizona’s Playground –  is a find.
A beach town in the desert – like an island oasis, and it gets 300 days of sunshine a year.
It’s a special place in my mind.

We were there at Spring Break; we saw no crowds

Perhaps that is due to the remote location of Lake Havasu.

There are many reasons to go to Arizona’s Playground – Lake Havasu
