What does Sri Lankan arrack taste like

Episode 10 [feat.
Sri Lankan Arrack].
9216 views Our time in Sri Lanka was filled with historical landmarks, elephant encounters, fun traveling friends, and booze.

The latter happened to come in the form of traditional Sri Lankan arrack

So, what is arrack.
We’re glad you asked.
Arrack is a spirit that is distilled from the sap of the coconut flower.
Sri Lanka just happens to be the largest producer of coconut arrack and we couldn’t have been happier to have discovered it while there. Our friends at Ceylon Arrack wanted us to try their special version of arrack and we were more than happy to oblige.
What does Sri Lankan arrack taste like.
Good quest ion.
It has a woody flavor with only subtle hints of coconut.
It’s a little sweet but unassuming and very refreshing.
Check out our newest AlcoHAUL featuring the delicious Sri Lankan arrack.  Like in the video above, I prefer my arrack mixed with ginger ale and lime.
A second runner-up would be tonic.
What would you mix with your arrack.
We would love to hear in the comment section below.

Most Sri Lankans I know prefer to drink it Coco cola which does change the taste quite a bit.
I also prefer it with a tonic or just plain ice cubes.
